Blondie looked around. Clepto made her slightly paranoid because you never knew when he was just going to pop up behind you like a daisy and do something absolutely insane. "That makes sense."

Blondie laughed. "This house is full of crazies. Maybe we should send Termite here." she joked, referring to a Brooklyn newsie who actually ate wood. He had one green eye and one blue eye and a terrible case of tourettes. Everyone in Brooklyn pretty much kept their distance from him because he was so strange. Blondie knew that Max would probably kill him if he lived in the Bronx lodging house though. Termite was like a dog, chewing up all kinds of things.

Max raised an eyebrow, "S'that even fuggin' healthy?" he asked, narrowing his eyes. He questioned Termite's sanity like everyone else, but he wasn't sure wood was good for the diet, "Must constipate him for weeks..."
