The nurse came and interrupted their conversation, saying something quietly to Spot. He took a deep breath and nodded bravely. The nurse walked away without another word. Spot turned his attention back to David. "She said dat I could see Blondie now. God I don't even know if I can look her in the face. I bet she's in hysterics..."

Spot nodded sadly, heading off after the nurse.
Damon and Cassie were both bleeding from the knuckles by now but kept playing.

"Race is hallucinatin' but fine,he took the nurse out with his water pitcher." BJ said.
Just as she asked a nurse came out,wheeling a smiling Sarah who carried a bundle, "Jack come meet your daughter." she said.
Jack ran over,kissing Sarah on the cheek then peeking at the little girl within the blankets, "Hey there." he cooed.
"Esther Renee Kelly." the nurse said, "If thats alright with the father." she beamed.
"it's great wit da father." Jack said.

Cassie got up from her game and went over to look at the little bundle in Sarah's arms. Damon followed her and peeked over her shoulder. "Aw! Uncle Jack she's adorable!" Cassie exclaimed.
Spot walked into the room that the nurse had pointed out. Blondie was sitting on a bed, her head resting on her knees. He walked over to the bed and climbed up beside her, putting his arms around her. She laid her head on his chest and cried into his shoulder. "Shh..." he shushed, trying to comfort her. He had to be strong for her. "It's gonna be okay baby. Everything's gonna be okay..." he said quietly, rubbing her back.
Just then, there was a light knock at the door. A nurse came in looking apologetic. "Mrs. Conlon, there's been a slight confusion...somehow your test results got mixed up with someone else's," she smiled. "Your baby's gonna be just fine, honey."
As what the nurse said sank in, Blondie lifted her head up, with an almost disbelieving look on her face. She then smiled at Spot. Spot was relieved about the baby but angry about the confusion. "What kinda fu-" Blondie clapped her hand over his mouth before he could finish the profanity. "Thank you," she said, smiling at Spot's futile attempt to cuss the nurse out. The nurse nodded and left the room. "Spot! Let's go!" Blondie got up off of the bed, holding his hand and pulling him along behind her. She was eager to tell the good news.

Jack just beamed,looking at his little daughter who peered around with hazel eyes.
"Wanna hold her Jack?" Sarah said weakly.
Jack scooped Esther up,cradling her head as he did, "Hey baby girl,I'm your daddy." he said.
Racetrack had come out and leaned against his doorfacing,watching Jack with his kid and grinning, "Congrats Jacky boy!" he said.
Max peered over Jack's shoulders at Essie and joked, "Just what we need,annudah Kelly stinkin' up the place." he laughed.

Blondie pulled Spot over to the rest of the group. She had no idea that Sarah had even gone into labor. "Sarah she's beautiful!" she exclaimed.

Lucky and David smiled as they watched Jack with his daughter. Lucky groaned a little. "I need to sit down," she said quietly to David, sitting down in the hard, orange plastic chair.

Hob walked up to Blondie and whispered something in her ear.
She nodded and they stepped outside together.
Spot walked over to David and told him the good news.
