Cailin saw Max sitting there and felt butterflies in her stomach. She took a deep breath and walked over to him smiling.

Max saw her and smiled, "Hey" he said,grinning. He wore blue jeans, a white shirt and a running jacket with a white stripe down the side. He had his sunglasses perched on his head and black converse. He'd dressed casual in case they went to the park or something." Oh," he pulled out six roses from a bag beside him and gave them to her, "Dat's fah youse." he said.

Max stopped a taxi,deciding on Central Park. He'd spent his teen years there.The cab stopped and he stepped out,helping Cailin out and paying the driver. The light danced on the autumn leaves as he led her throough the paths that winded through the parks.Showing her the fountains and statues.When they came to one he liked, it was a fountain with a newsie on it,he remembered Racetrack stuffing the thing mouth with newspapers at two in the morning and it broke.

Max pulled her back to a cab,taking her to another park. This one had musician's playing for a festival and little vendors all over the place. He laughed, "We caught dis one on a good day." he said,looking around.

Cailin laughed and looked around at everything wonderously. She had never lived in a big city with so many nice parks.
