Jack walked up,waving at Spot as they went by,then saw David, "What happened ta Blondie?" he asked,he hadn't been by Tibby's since the other morning.

"Incident at Tibby's. Couple of guys were in a fight and fell through the window. Piece of glass punctured Blondie's head," David explained.

Spot and Blondie stopped for a second. "Ya know, I tink we would get dere fastah if you lemme carry youse. Den you could get a longer rest. Here jump on me back," Spot said.
Blondie hesitated but decided Spot was right--it would be much faster. She got on his back and he carried her with ease. "Dang you're as light as a feadah! Don't youse evah eat?" Spot asked. "Yeah, I just move around so much dat I woik it off," she said

Jack frowned a little,rubbing his own head, "ow.." he muttered, "Well,I'm goin' in,see yas tomorrow." he went around David and into the lodging house.

"Heya Davey? Ain't ya lonely back dere?" Spot asked. It was kinda quiet and he was trying to start a conversation. Blondie said, "Yeah, why dontcha come up here wid us?"

David shrugged and quickened his pace a little so he was closer to Spot and Blondie, but not directly next to them. He wanted to give them their space.

"Okay Spot. Put me down, I'm gettin' a leg cramp!" Blondie said. "I can walk for a little while."
"Okay," Spot said putting her down. He put his arm around her as they walked, drawing her closer to him.

David blushed slightly. "Shut up. Eventually it'll get to where you two hate spending any amount of time away from each other, even if just a few seconds. After that, you can't say anything about me and Lucky."
