Jack led the boys into Tibby's sitting down at their usual table as the Newsies that were already in there rushed to greet him,he was unusually quiet,he hadn't been like this since the year before last.
Race plopped down beside Jack, he'd gotten BJ and they were sitting their arguing over Shepshead.

Spot had noticed Jack's quietness too. He looked at Jack curiously, "What's wrong, Jacky Boy?"

Jack laughed, "Nah,not about dat."

Jack fiddled with his fork as the waitress came over.
Rhiana was used to the newsies coming in,she'd seen Jack before and hadn't thought of him as a ideal. "What do you guys wan...."she trailed off,her eyes meeting Jacks.
Jack stared at Rhiana,he'd seen her,and hadn't ever given her a thought, he tited his head slightly and said, "Hi."
Race smirked,seeing the expression on Jack's face.

"Hi," Rhiana said,her pen slipping and falling into the floor, "Whoops.." she muttered.
Jack bent down,picking it up for her, "Heah." he said,looking at her with curiosity, "I'm Jack."
"Rhiana," Rhiana said,his eyes were pretty.
Race snorted into his phosphate,coughing.
"Spit it out!" Bj yelled,hitting Race in the back, "Ya gunna cough up a lung!"
