Sheridan smiled at jack he reminded her of her of her brothers a little bit. "He found me out wandering around randomly. I haven't had a real good sleep in a couple of nights (actually more than that but she wasn't about to tell them that.) And I was looking for food so he gave me away to obtain said food." Sheridan looked over at the new guy race was talking to with the eye patch. "Who's he?"

Blink hadn't noticed the girl before, caught up in his own little world. "Name's Blink." he said, smiling at her. "And you?" The news he had to tell Race could wait a couple of minutes.

"Well, I's sure Kloppman would let ya stay at da lodging house," Jack told her, "We got bunks but I's sure dats better than where ya been staying," he fiddled with his fork when Blink began to speak.
Race puffed up, wanting to know what Blink had to say, "Yeah..dis is Blink.." he smirked, " Jus' don' let him in ya pants.." he said the last part under his breath so only Blink could hear.
(( -hugs Jack- WHY ARE YOU SO ADORABLE?! WHY ARE YOU SO NICE? -glomps him again, pulls him off into a dark alley muttering something about fangirling-))

"Sheridan" she answered blink. Staring at his eye patch. She was seriously thinking about reaching out a and pulling it back to see if he really was missing an eye. She was still considering doing it but turned to answer jack anyway. "What and where is this lodging house and how much does it cost?"

" Six cents a night," Jack said, "But Kloppman is willin' ta negotiate, if ya situation can' handle six," Kloppman was one of the more understanding people who ran a Lodging house, he'd negotiated with Jack before whent he selling wasn't good, and he negotiated with Race all the time.
((ooc: So, I looked up the price XD to stay in the actual No. 9 Duane Street Newsboy Lodging House it was six cents a night, and ten cents for a private room (which was just a curtain that seperated a bed from the rest) but since Kloppman is a nice old guy, I decided he negotiates))

Behind Blink's eye patch, he still had his eye, but it was completely blind, so he wore the eyepatch to hide the cloudy color. Blink playfully smacked Race in the back of the head for what he muttered, but smirked anyway. "She don't gotta worry about dat cause I got a date tonight." he said to Race.

Sheridan thought about the offer. With what she had made today by selling papers like race had taught he to do she could pay for at least a couple of nights but she was hoping this would be something long term so that ment getting more money. She puzzled over this for a little bit then decided to focus on some other important questions first. "Are there any other girls living there?" She asked. "And is that where all of you stay?

"Yeah, we got a couple of goils, BlackJack, Lucky.." Jack named off a couple of more, "Dere's a goil's sleepin' area, we're all in da boys area, but yeah, we stay there mostly," he said, smiling. "An dere is da aftahnoon edition latah so you'se can sell wit us again if ya want."
"Did ya hafta pay her?" Race asked, smirking, and pulling his hat back on his head.

"Sounds like a good deal." She smiled back. "I could really get used to this kinda thing making my own money and stuff." It would be a great deal different than I am used to she thought to Herrself.

Jack grinned, "If you wanna you can sell wit me dis go around, Race'll steal ya money," he joked, watching Race and Blink.
Race made a face back at Blink, then laughed at what Jack said, "Nah, I don' steal money from women, plus she ain' played pokah wit me yet. I just showed her how ta sell papes."

Sheridan laughed at blink and race they were definitely two of a kind. It felt good to laugh it had been a while since she had last found something funny. She then turned to answer jack. "Selling papers with you sound good too maybe you can show me a few more tips huh?" She grinned.

Jack laughed, "I just do what ya gotta do," he said.
Race grinned, " It's da truth dough.." he said, it was also why he played Jack in poker alot, he won sometimes, but Jack was the only one he didn't cheat with.
